Monkey Boy

"Monkey. Nana."

"Yes, that's your monkey and he's eating a banana."

"Nana!"

"Do you want a banana too?"

"Nana too!"

Hurrah for communicative 2 year olds!
Swimming in Denver

Last weekend (July 8-9) we went to Denver to see the Body Worlds exhibit at the Museum of Natural Science. Nathaniel couldn't care less about the exhibit but he LOVED swimming at the pool at the hotel (as long as it was on his terms).

No wings!!

I'll just hold on to Daddy.

What a cutie!

The White Rim

We joined 2 other couples during the end of May to drive/bike the 100 mile White Rim Trail near Moab, UT. It was a desert playground paradise for the kids.

We brought our trusty Landcruiser (hurrah for A/C!) and Kelly and Clark brought their truck.

Jess was a tad nervous on this natural bridge--notice Ben's death grip on Nathaniel and our "hurry up and take the picture quick!" smiles.

Nate and Lori have 3-year old twins (Ren and Emerson), so Nate rigged up the tag-along.

Kelly and Clark let us borrow their bike--Nathaniel loved it! (That's his fake smile, not the "let me outta here" face.)

Ahhhh....this is the life!

Yeay, Ben!
